Victoria Dondog is an accounting and auditing professional with more than a decade of professional experience working with the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) across emerging markets in Central and South East Asia.
She was a Senior Audit Associate with Ernst & Young in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia working with many of the leading domestic and multinational firms operating across industries such as mining, telecommunication, financial services and property. Victoria then joined KPMG in Malaysia as a Senior Audit Associate working with clients in industries such as healthcare, electronics and business services throughout the region.
As a country expert on Mongolia, she subsequently was appointed as the National Consultant in auditing and accounting to the World Bank. Under a joint initiative with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and working closely with Mongolia’s Ministry of Finance, local regulators and professional bodies, Victoria oversaw the drafting of Mongolia’s accounting and auditing law. The development of this new institutional framework has significantly influenced the quality of corporate reporting across private sector and state-owned enterprises in Mongolia.
Victoria is bilingual and proficient in both English and Mongolian.
